Southampton University Formula Student Team (SUFST)
Discover what is required to build a single-seater electric race car!
SUFST is a student-run organisation within the University of Southampton that design and build a single seater race car every year to compete in the prestigious Formula Student Competition at Silverstone in July.
We will have different components from some of our cars on display to explain and show how the car works. We will also be showing how we develop our fully electric powertrain, what is required for us to assemble the car and how we use simulations to inform our design.
Some of our members will be on hand to answer any questions about the team or how we build the car and explain the different areas in further detail.
