Join researchers form the Interdisciplinary Centre for Magnetic Resonance at the School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering of the University of Southampton to watch a live magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) experiment and learn about instrumentation and methodologies used to produce amazing MRI images. MRI is used as a painless routine exam that doctors use to look inside people to diagnose a variety of illnesses. It is also abundantly used in research laboratories around the world to study properties of materials, plants, animals and more. Join us and discover who are our little patients and help us provide them with a diagnosis.
